Download FastBreak Pro Version 6.4 Beta For version 6 users only.

The new beta adds the capability to build a new trading system in conjunction with one or two existing trading systems. One purpose of this capability is to build complementary systems that may reduce the MDD or volatility of an entire portfolio that is trading multiple systems.
Installation instructions - This beta version will only work with users who have version 6.X of FastBreak Pro. We recommend you read this entire addendum before trying to run the new version. We highly recommend you keep your current version on your computer. You can have multiple versions on your computer, but you will need to practice good housekeeping to keep the versions and files organized. The new version consists only of a single new file, but you need to have installed version 6 on the computer. Here are the recommended steps
1. Create a new folder on your computer (ftbreakp64) for example.
2. Unzip the version 6.4 executable into this new folder. The file name is ftbreakp.exe.
3. Rename the file to ftbreakp64beta.exe to avoid confusion with your current version 6 executable.
4. Drag a shortcut of this file to your desktop and rename the shortcut to FB Pro V6.4 Beta.
5. Double click on the shortcut to launch the new version. If you need to reinstall FastBreak Pro you will need to do a complete reinstallation with your original CD and then install the update.

Download FastBreak Pro Version 6.3 For version 6 users only.

This version allows a user to add FNU and Detail files when the best generation systems (DFT files) are saved. Please read the release notes before installing and running this new version.

Save your current ftbreakp.exe as ftbreakp_old.exe. Double-click the dowmloaded file FastBreak Pro 6.3.exe to extract the new ftbreakp.exe into your FastBreak Pro folder. Make sure any shortcuts point to the new exe.

If you get the error 'Runtime error 50003. Unexpected error' after trying to run the new version, you will need to upgrade the file tabctl32.ocx. This file normally resides in your Windows\System directory. Search your computer for this file and download the file to the directory where the file exists replacing the current file.

Download FastBreak Pro Version 6.1 Beta For version 5 users only.

The new beta contains automated Trendline sell Stops and Buy filters. Both Linear and Logarithmic versions of Trendlines are available. Please read the release notes before installing and running this new version.

This file normally resides in your Windows\System directory. Search your computer for this file and download the file to the directory where the file exists replacing the current file.

Double-click and extract the new exe called Ftbreak.exe into your FastBreak Pro folder. If you use FNU files as input you will like the new version. It runs approximately 4X faster when running the optimizer! When using FastTrack data you will see only a small performance increase, maybe 10%. If you use the Optimized Family option you will not see the performance increase. If you find any problems, let us know. Version 5.4 also fixes a small bug. If you used the combination of BOOM, POP and Exclude Money, the Exclude Money Market would be ignored.
